The fruitful life needs rain just as much as it needs the sun. Rejoice that the Lord grants us both in order to grow.

You must first allow God to do a work in you before He can do a work through you--this of course requires waiting with worthiness. You see, we often get frustrated with the delays that we experience and begin to worry, which stunts the work that God wants to do in us. Therefore, when we learn to wait on the Lord, He uses the delays as His best tool for character development. And soon after He works His will in us, He then can work His will through us.

The beginning of worry is the end of worship. And the beginning of worship is the end of worry. Choose worship over worry!

Ever thought about what your are worth? Not based on what's in your bank account, but based on the debt God paid on your behalf, which to us was an un-payable amount. You see, your worth became priceless when Jesus went to the cross to make you righteous. This is an amount so extravagant that only God's bank account could cover it.

If you look backwards, you will see how the most character building pages of your past were probably written with the pen of affliction. Therefore pray, "Thank You Lord for giving me what was fruitful well over what was comfortable."

Do not suppress your brokenness and act like you have it all together, but embrace your brokenness and therein discover the completion of the Savior. You see, when we admit we are broken and weak, it is God's strength in us that can be most clearly seen. God is not looking to save perfect people, because there are none. He is looking to offer redemption to those who admit they are broken.
