Waiting on the Lord shouldn't be an exhausting process. In fact, the Bible tells us that "waiting on the Lord" has a renewing and refreshing purpose (Isaiah 40:31). You see, waiting on the Lord has nothing to do with God being late. But waiting on the Lord is submitting to the truth that God is always on time. And when we rest in that hope, we give access for strength to enter our heart. "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!" (Psalm 27:14).

We can either be consumed by God's grace or we can be consumed by the problems that we face. Because whatever we fill up on becomes the overflow of our day. Therefore, a mind that is absorbed by the love of Jesus is one that pours out the life of Jesus.

Our attitude is either a bridge or a block to God. And when we have an attitude of gratitude, we give God access to offer us His help and His hope through any and every circumstance. Again, our gratefulness in everything makes a way for us to know God’s faithfulness through everything.

Let God know what is bothering you and then trust the matter into His hands. Do this to be free from the weight of worrying. You see, if He holds the universe together, you can trust that He will hold your moment together.

Trouble not only gives us the opportunity to prove our faith, but it also presents us the opportunity to improve our character. You see, adversity is often the driving force that allows us to experience God's reality. And though your circumstances may not feel good or even look good, the believer can trust and know that God works all things together for good.

When someone hurts us or sins against us, if we do not uproot bitterness in our hearts with the forgiveness that comes from the Father's heart, it will destroy our future. And though it may be hard to forgive, forgiveness keeps hardness of heart from settling in. We can forgive because we have been forgiven.
