The darker a culture grows, the more it resists the light, but hostility toward holiness is not defeat, it’s confirmation that you are on the right team. The world does not persecute what blends in; it pushes back against what exposes it. If Christ was opposed, misunderstood, and rejected, we should not expect applause for walking in His steps. “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you” (John 15:18).
