God never allows a crisis without desiring people to know who Christ is. In other words, every affliction comes with an invitation to come and know the Lord. "It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes" (Psalm 119:71).

It is no secret that we are on a slippery slope, moving from Judeo-Christian to progressive and pagan. And if we don't return to our biblical foundation, we won't return from this anti-biblical conversion. This is true for souls and societies. "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people" (Proverbs 14:34).

Remember, as the salt of the earth, we are called to delay the decay of the day by being in the way. This means we must be in Christ first in order to influence society for Christ best. “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it...

A call to love without truth is like a body without a soul. It may sound life-giving, but it lacks the "body" that gives life. You see, love divorced from truth is dead. "Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth" (1 Corinthians 13:6).

The difference between a soul at rest and a soul arrested is the foundation beneath them. You see, if it's not the truth of Christ, then such ground will keep one bound. "Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it’" (Jeremiah 6:16).

Since only God knows the point of no return, we should never reach a point where we are not calling for a return to God. "Let us examine and probe our ways, and let us return to the Lord" (Lamentations 3:40).
