You’ll find two types of blogs here: long-form (Blog) & short-form (Daily Dose).
Don’t compromise—continue. In a culture sprinting toward deception, faithfulness looks like staying rooted in what you've already learned. We don’t graduate from God’s Word—we grow deeper into it. Progress isn’t moving past Scripture—it’s persevering within it. “But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of…” (2 Timothy 3:14).
God rules over all. This means He is able to over-rule any and all schemes that the enemy attempts to bring. In other words, weapons formed become blessings for! "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17)
The right way to spend the next hour is to spend it as if it were your last hour. And if that be true, let Christ be magnified over every hour that graces you. "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him" (Colossians 3:17).
God made us on purpose for a purpose. "On purpose" because He doesn't make mistakes and "for a purpose" because He wants our lives to highlight His great grace. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them"(Ephesians 2:10).
Since God's Word is our authority, we should speak it without apology. This is not a license to be rude, this is a license to speak truth. "Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth" (Jeremiah 1:9).
The only way to dismantle lies is to rightly handle the word of truth. You see, without a proper handle on truth, one can easily be handed over to a lie. "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).
Hands that reform are beneficial. But hearts that repent are crucial. You see, unless hearts return to the Lord, nothing will change in our land. "The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and...
The world isn’t unraveling—it’s contracting. And every contraction is a countdown to Christ’s return. From the Israel–Hamas conflict to Russia and Iran’s growing alliance, from the shaking in Ukraine to the pressure mounting around Taiwan, the global landscape is shifting like tectonic plates under prophetic...
It is certainly frustrating when God brings you to an impossible impasse. These are situations in life that your hands cannot handle, even though you so desire to be able to fix them on your own. By nature, especially men, we are fixers! So God puts us into a fix—which is a situation that cannot be fixed—in order to prove that He is the Fix that we...
I don’t know about you, but for me this is true. How I so easily take for granted what it is God has given me. And it is usually in the process of losing the gift that you finally realize the value of the gift. It has been said “that you don’t really know what you’ve got until it’s gone.” And I have often said, “whatever you devalue you eventually lose.” Now, perhaps you can relate to what I am saying and you consider these platitudes to be true from personal...
The worst place to be is in the midst of rough seas with no peace. It is truly unsettling to be tossed to and fro in your soul and not have an anchor to behold. Ever been there? I have. And I know this: If you are looking for peace in the storm, you won't find it. You actually have to let go of the storm -- so peace can find you. And once you let go of the chaos, so you can finally hear the voice of Jesus, you will hear and experience the power of...
(Written by Andrea Maher) 2009 will always be a year etched in my heart. We all have them. You know those tragic yesteryear dates that become memory mile markers--no matter how much time passes. December 2005 is also one of those years – that year, I buried a son. But 2009…that year just about buried me. Perhaps it was because...
