"I believe in Christianity as I believe that the Sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it, I see everything else" (C.S. Lewis). In other words, it is only in Christ that we find true sight. "One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see” (John 9:25).

A comprised heart leads to a compromised life. Therefore, keep your heart in the Word & the Word will keep your heart. "I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against you" (Psalm 119:11).

Every other "god" in this world requires sacrifice. But the God of the Word became a sacrifice. And that's why we call it the Gospel--it's good news that has no rival.

For every lost sinner there is a seeking Savior. And no matter the gravity of your failure, the work of Jesus Christ on the cross is greater. "Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more" (Romans 5:20).

Fruit is borne not by trying, but by abiding. You see, the fruit of the Spirit is produced in us, not because we are ambitious, but because we are steady resting/remaining in Jesus. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).
