The pathway to blessedness must humbly pass through brokenness. The world may throw away what’s broken, but God looks to pour into such vessels because they are finally open.

Prayer isn't about ordering God to do your will, it's about reporting for duty to hear His orders according to His will. You see, it is very hard to hear God speak to us if we are always making demands of Him.

Whether it's of the mundane or something birthed from pain, the platform under you is the place where God wants to use you. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).

God will not take us out of our trouble until we first allow Him to take the trouble out of us. You see, God's desired outcome for the believer is never comfort from trials, but rather conformity to His Son. "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren" (Romans 8:29).

When you trust Jesus as your Savior and Protector, the very weapon formed against you actually becomes a blessing that God has for you. Ask Joseph, who went from the pit to the palace and all because of his brothers malice. Ask Daniel, who was placed in a den of lions to be devoured, but such an attempt only led to Daniel being even more empowered. And ultimately ask Jesus, because even the cross of death became the pathway to eternal life. No weapon formed against the believer shall prosper. Ever. "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17)

Stop putting your hand on the sin that Jesus already handled. And not only handled, but completely and utterly dismantled. Therefore, instead of continually reviving the sin in your life, begin to reach out to the scarred hands of Jesus Christ. “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12).
