There is nothing that can ever be uncovered about you that isn’t already covered by the grace of God.

Knowing Jesus isn’t proved by information of mind, but rather transformation of heart. You see, the Bible cannot change you from the outside in because you read it, but its Author can change you from the inside out when you heed it.

Our lives are a product of our thoughts. What we think upon and look upon will be what we build our life upon. Therefore, "do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2).

You cannot be more prodigal than God. You may have gone far from Him, but Jesus went farther than your sin to bring you back to Him. He went to hell to bring us to heaven. And when you realize that about His prodigal grace, you will have found your way back into His warm embrace. Again, our recklessness cannot trump God's faithfulness because nothing can separate us from the prodigal love of Jesus.

When the heart is open to Jesus, the ear is open to His word, the lips are opened in prayer, the hand is opened in charity, and the steps are opened in obedience.

The heart that fails to love God will successfully love the things of this world. And no matter how much success you find in the world, you will never find satisfaction outside of the Lord. "For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world." (I John 2:15)
