Light doesn’t argue with darkness, it simply shines into it. And darkness has no defense against even the smallest flame. In the same way, you don’t have to out-shout the culture or win every argument, you just have to out-shine it with Christ in you. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:14).
Don’t be fooled by what this world tells you and sells you. It’s most likely a counterfeit intended to entangle you. Therefore, know the Truth so well that you can not only detect a lie, but you can protect your life.
Rather than leave a broken world in its condition, God entered it and offered it salvation. Again, God didn't just call out from heaven with good news. No! He came down from heaven and died in our place to give us good news, which is forgiveness of sins and new life in His Son.
When we put our pain into Gods hands, He puts His passion into our hearts. Because pain and passion are the fuels of empathy, and that which makes us useful in God's economy.
You can always tell which kingdom a person is from by their speech. We are either using the language of light and life or the language of darkness and death. Because how we speak is indicative of where we are from--"But our citizenship is in heaven" (Philippians 3:20).
Don’t allow the pursuit of being successful to sabotage the memory of all the times God has been faithful. If was faithful back then, He will be faithful again.
Never let a person win your heart until Jesus Christ has captured their heart. Because a heart first won by Him is a heart that will deal tenderly with yours.
