Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: True love doesn't just plan for a wedding, but it plans for a marriage. In other words, too many "love stories" end prematurely and lead to alimony simply because they only focused on the bells and whistles of a singular day instead of understanding the life-long commitment of holy matrimony. For me personally, I am grateful for the wife of my life who wanted the dedication of marriage more than she wanted just the celebration of a wedding.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: A life cannot be holy salvaged until it knows full wreckage. We may not understand this, but wisdom requires us to stand under this. You see, without being fully undone, we usually don't find it necessary to rely on the only begotten Son. It's when we have come to the complete end of ourselves that we become completely aware of our need for Jesus. This is what I will call "full wreckage." This is often the prerequisite to being holy salvaged.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: Forgiveness isn't free. It cost God His life. You see, Jesus died the death we deserved and gave us the life we didn't deserve. We cannot pay Him back. We can only play redemption out and show the world what His love is all about.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: There may be reminders in your life that you are filthy and guilty, but with the cross, God gave us a greater reminder that we are flawless in His forgiveness and brand new in His righteousness.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: "But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it" (Ephesians 4:7). Gods grace is an eraser for the past, a gift for the present, and favor for the future. He gives us His grace graciously, so let us receive His grace gracefully.
