Without spiritual perception, you can be close to God's presence, yet still be closed off to God's message. And that is why we must pray for blind eyes to be open. "Then [Jesus] opened their minds to understand the Scriptures..." (Luke 24:45).

Our best cannot get us to God. And even our worst cannot keep us from God. In other words, only what Christ did can save us from what we've done. Only Christ. "[Nothing] shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:39).

Every decision has consequences and every consequence comes with decisions. Thus, let us be redemptive, not reactive, in our decision-making and with our responses, for both will eventually make us or break us. "He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known" (Proverbs 10:9).

As Christians, we don't need more governmental guidance, we need more biblical confidence. You see, with your faith founded on Scripture, no variant of fear can grip ya. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).

Our present world may look bad, but nothing happens apart from the plan of God. You see, God is able to recycle man's rebellion to bring about His redemption. "He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings..." (Daniel 2:21).

God not only orders our steps but even our stops. So whether God says "stop" or "step," His peace comes to us when His orders are kept. "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way" (Psalm 37:23).
