God allows storms to touch us in order to grow us because He is more concerned about the roots of our convictions and the resilience of our character than the comfort of our circumstances. He loves us too much to leave us in the same condition that He found us. And since He proved His love for us with His sacrifice on the cross, we can trust the processes that He chooses for our growth.

You may not be able to see God's plan unfolding in front of you, but you can trust His purpose is always good for you. And when you learn to trust God's heart, peace begins to enter yours.

"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity" (Proverbs 17:17). A few friends who understand your tears are much more valuable than a lot of friends who only know your laughs.
