Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: You cannot be more prodigal than God. You may have gone far from Him, but Jesus already went farther than your sin to bring you back to Him. He went to hell to bring you to heaven. And when you realize that about His prodigal grace, you will have found your way back into His warm embrace.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: Jesus said, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first” (John 8:7). You may be the only Bible somebody reads and you just may be the very "stone" that somebody needs. And if you are to be a biblical stone, then you cannot afford to throw cynical or critical stones. Being a stone is not about being hard, but it's about knowing your weighed words will be heard, so your actions also need to be solidified in the Word. And even if someone throws....

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: True love doesn't just plan for a wedding, but it plans for a marriage. In other words, too many "love stories" end prematurely and lead to alimony simply because they only focused on the bells and whistles of a singular day instead of understanding the life-long commitment of holy matrimony. For me personally, I am grateful for the wife of my life who wanted the dedication of marriage more than she wanted just the celebration of a wedding.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: A life cannot be holy salvaged until it knows full wreckage. We may not understand this, but wisdom requires us to stand under this. You see, without being fully undone, we usually don't find it necessary to rely on the only begotten Son. It's when we have come to the complete end of ourselves that we become completely aware of our need for Jesus. This is what I will call "full wreckage." This is often the prerequisite to being holy salvaged.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: Forgiveness isn't free. It cost God His life. You see, Jesus died the death we deserved and gave us the life we didn't deserve. We cannot pay Him back. We can only play redemption out and show the world what His love is all about.
