Tragedy is man’s number one reason to blame God, question God, and sadly turn from God. Tragedy is calamity or unforeseen disaster, and that which shocks the emotional system of those involved directly, while even touching the surface of many indirectly. The direct results push away plenty from God, while the indirect results usually causes one to fade away from others—which is a tragedy in both cases—but the “Topic Buster” will highlight that for me....

Religion is not a belief system, it is a system that conforms your belief. It is not “freedom,” it is spiritual slavery. Religion is restriction and that is why it means “bond.” Yet, when we become religious, we are openly identifying ourselves with a hierarchy of man. A platform that has removed God. A majority of the Jesus’ enemies were religious. They were so offended at His truth that instead of flexing their mindset (like new wine skins) and receiving truth, they burst with anger and envy at the heart. Total religious error. Religion cannot clean up a man’s internal. It may affect the man.....

Progression is thought to be advancement in a certain area of your life; Gaining momentum; or to develop to a more advanced stage. For example, we progress in our education as we advance from grade to grade, and degree to degree. I progressed for sixteen years of schooling and obtained a degree in Business Administration. Progression? Personally and eternally, not so much. We progress in our careers from position to position and salary to salary. “Moving on up” we sing, but is it at our souls expense? The world has us believing that progress is chronologically linked with success. Think about it! “Years involved” in...

SUFFERING IS: Suffering is often misunderstood, but that’s because we fail to see how God uses it for our good. Jesus learned obedience through suffering (Hebrews 5:8), so how much more must we heed to suffering in order to simply learn. Think about it. We suffer little by little each day, as aging brings us closer to death. So if I already know I’m going to die, shouldn’t I be learning obedience with each breath? The problem is not death however, because in Christ you shall never die; but the problem is how we miss the opportunity to have life abundant before “death” by complaining our way to death. Man essentially grumbles his way through his sufferings, missing the character development in the temporal that will be with us in eternal. God’s genius was.....

EMPTINESS IS: Man’s attempt at filling a God-shaped hole with worldly dirt. Why? Because being made out of dirt (flesh), we are attracted to that which we are controlled by. But God put a vacuum in the heart of man to have it “suction” for the beauty of Him. A heavenly pursuit that can only be experienced through the channel of Jesus; yet instead of Jes-us, we make it about-us. And thus begins the filling and thrilling of fixtures of earth that......
