You’ll find two types of blogs here: long-form (Blog) & short-form (Daily Dose).
Gratitude turns what we have into enough, because it shifts our focus from what’s missing to Who is present. A thankful heart sees God’s hand in both plenty and in pain, and finds peace in His provision. When we practice gratitude, lack loses its grip and contentment takes its place. “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
There is more joy in Jesus in 1 hour than there is in the world in 1 year. I know this to be true because I have tried them both and only Jesus can fill the hole in the soul with joy.
The ministry of thorns carries with it more grace and glory than the ministry of thrones. In other words, we often come to know God’s sufficiency because a “thorn” brings us to the point of our own inadequacy.
“Courage is contagious. When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened.” (BillyGraham, 1918 - 2018)
How do you defend the gospel in your life? The same way you defend a lion. You open up the cage and it defends itself. In other words, let your life be the proof that the power of the gospel is real, roaring, and relentless.
If the devil can get us to worry about the peripheral, he can get us to lose sight of the eternal. Therefore, do not let the smalls things of life to keep you from the things that God wants in your life.
Don't allow what has been done to you to become bigger than what Jesus did for you.
On Labor Day weekend, I’ll begin a new teaching series at Landmark Church titled “The Last Revelation: Countdown To The Kingdom.” For the past several months, I’ve been studying, praying, and seeking the Lord in preparation for what He desires to...
I awake in a dark prison, yet I am free—a light apart from darkness. But the darkness exists, and I have learned that it is better to wake up in dark circumstances with God’s presence than to wake up alone in presumed light. Even in times of...
Oh Lord, that I may BLESS YOU indeed…I can pray words, but empty. I can pray chants, but ritual. I can pray songs, but selfish. So Lord, I pray tears, and flowing. I pray tears, and feeling. I pray tears, while knowing, that “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” When words and...
DISCLAIMER: I AM NO EXPERT. Simply a woman who recently had a baby :) I am by no means a ‘motherhood master’, nor am I the 'end all say all'… I’m well aware that not ALL new moms would cosign these pointers, but by and large, I feel that these were the things I valued most my first few weeks home from the hospital. Let me start off by...
I’ve had so many people tell me they are “glad my life has worked out the way it has.” Thanks! I am too. However, if I am going to be honest with you, I have to be the first to say how things haven't "worked out for me" randomly. But it is God who...
