You’ll find two types of blogs here: long-form (Blog) & short-form (Daily Dose).
Light doesn’t argue with darkness, it simply shines into it. And darkness has no defense against even the smallest flame. In the same way, you don’t have to out-shout the culture or win every argument, you just have to out-shine it with Christ in you. "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:14).
In a wayward world, it is easy to get weary and worried on the journey. But stay faithful, because the fruit of your labor comes later.
Hopelessness is not a set circumstance. Hopelessness is failing to set your eyes on God through your circumstance. Because eyes that stay fixed on Him will always have the endurance of hope to go through anything.
Worrying about your situation will not change the outcome. But worshipping your way through the situation will allow change in you to come about.
The heart that is set upon the joy of heaven cannot be beset by the sorrow of earth.
Though people will fail you, God will never fail you. And though people will leave you, God will never leave you. He promises to always be with us and His promises are always for us.
Stop judging yourself. God doesn't see you with the eyes of condemnation, but with the eyes of compassion. If He intended to hold judgement against us, I tell you the truth, He would not have given us forgiveness of sins through Jesus. So stop judging yourself and begin looking to the cross.
On Labor Day weekend, I’ll begin a new teaching series at Landmark Church titled “The Last Revelation: Countdown To The Kingdom.” For the past several months, I’ve been studying, praying, and seeking the Lord in preparation for what He desires to...
We are often waiting for the provision of God but without the right vision of God. Meaning, it is easy to miss the fact that God's very presence is our ever-present provision. Always. God is there. He is always there. And when Jesus ascended back to heaven, He left us with the Helper of Heaven. The Holy Spirit. Thus, the greatest provision for the soul...
The ministry of Jesus was publicly loud. So loud--that His life and love 2000 years later--are still impacting hearts and changing the world for the good. The question must be asked then--How did He accomplish so much in such a short period of time? Well, after a close look within the Scriptures, we will discover that....
About a week before Jesus would go through Gethsemane and to the cross of Calvary, His agony is seen visually and heard verbally in regards to His impending death. However, His death was the purpose in which He came and it is important to know that death did not interrupt His ministry, it fulfilled...
The pattern of pain has taught me much. Pain comes with a paragon, and if followed closely, leads to appreciation and passion to be used for greater purpose. Straying away from pain however, only brings you closer to shame. And when in shame, we shut down or lash out. Shutting down leads to depression and lashing out leads to guilt projection. Not the purpose of pain whatsoever...at least not....
