Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: If you're waiting for this world to get better--NEWSFLASH--you're going to be waiting forever. So instead of calling for "social peace" and "political ease"--Wake up America!--We need to be protesting by prayer and hoping that many would come to repentance and be spared. So instead of arguing about "what lives matter" and trying to make sense of so many devastations, one would be wise to know that Jesus is the only peaceable answer to a world with belligerent questions.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: The greatest form of freedom is forgiveness. You may have to give it or you may have to receive it. But either way, we all absolutely need it. Conversely, the person who says, "I cannot forgive," will not be forgiven.

"Dear Heavenly Father, please heal my heart by healing my past. For only You can travel backwards in time and space in order to move me forward in Your present grace. Take these old wounds of agony and make them into new tunes that sing Your glory. I thank you O Lord for considering me, a lonely sinner, and giving me Your Son, our holy Savior. Your love makes me whole and I praise You for Your mercy which saved my soul. Amen."

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: I love the "red, white & blue", I do. But I can't be ignorant of the fact that our founding freedom is under attack. We're supposed to be "One Nation Under God," but it's more like one Nation under fog. "In God We Trust", an American saying, but the public forbids when it's in His name we're praying. So the conclusion is this: There's no life & liberty in the American thesis, because true freedom can only found in the Name of Jesus.

Matthew Maher presents Daily Dose: There is no freedom in freedom itself. Freedom is found only in Jesus Himself. In other words, we can "declare independence" on a calendar, but true liberty begins with dependence upon a Savior.
