Those who are woke in Christ are those who walk in truth. However, in order to walk in truth, one must know the Word of truth. "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (II Timothy 2:15).

Cancel culture can cancel people, but they will never be able to cancel the Gospel. And as believers in the One True God, we should never shy away from truth for fear of man. "The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe" (Proverbs 29:25).

As a nation, if we remove “under God” in practice and policy, we will become a nation gone under permanently. Period. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord..." (Psalm 33:12).‍

It is our realness about our brokenness, not our religiousness, that reaches others for Christ. You see, because pain is real, our mission is to point to the only One who can heal. "Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise" (Jeremiah 17:14).

As Christians, we tell the world what it needs to hear, not what it wants to hear. And the world needs to hear about Jesus, the only cure to the sin sick soul. "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Dear Christian, if you can’t see how God is up to something, it's probably because you are preoccupied by something other than God.
